The program is designed to teach parents and children the fundamentals of the sport while building the participants' confidence. Participants will develop the basic motor skills necessary to play baseball/softball through hitting and fielding while having fun! Your child must be able to listen and follow directions. Parents may be required to participate in portions of the class. Program is for Wilbraham residents only.COACHES: Our Preschool Baseball Program is dependent on volunteer parent coaches and assistant coaches! This is a parent-child program and we are asking that at least one parent for each group be the head coach as well as have parent assistant coaches to lead each session. The 6-week program will include learning the fundamentals and etiquette of soccer, flag-football, and T-ball. The goal of the clinic is to help promote love and appreciation for sports in children in an active and supportive environment.  Different sports will be rotated through bi-weekly to provide variety and exposure.  This is a perfect opportunity to create a healthy outlet for children to develop physical, social, and mental skills, learn to work as a team, and connect with positive role models. Come join us at this great program for the youngest athletes.  Please have your child bring a water bottle, wear athletic attire and please wear sneakers. The kids will be issued a t-shirt on the first or second session. Your child must be able to listen and follow directions. Parents may be required to participate in portions of the class. Program is for Wilbraham residents only.COACHES: Our Preschool Baseball Program is dependent on volunteer parent coaches and assistant coaches! This is a parent-child program and we are asking that at least one parent for each group be the head coach as well as have parent assistant coaches to lead each session. The goal of the Youth Track Workout is to introduce children to the sport of track and field while also incorporating some fun games to keep participants active and engaged. Join us in getting outdoors this spring and work off that winter energy with friends! The 6-week program will include learning the fundamentals and etiquette of soccer, flag-football, and T-ball. The goal of the clinic is to help promote love and appreciation for sports in children in an active and supportive environment.  Different sports will be rotated through bi-weekly to provide variety and exposure.  This is a perfect opportunity to create a healthy outlet for children to develop physical, social, and mental skills, learn to work as a team, and connect with positive role models. Come join us at this great program for the youngest athletes.  Please have your child bring a water bottle, wear athletic attire and please wear sneakers. The kids will be issued a t-shirt on the first or second session.
