Falcons Competitive Baseball 12U and 14U Spring 2027

Falcons Spring Baseball offers exciting competitive level baseball for Wilbraham and Hampden Residents.

REGISTRATION ONLINE, IN OFFICE, OR BY MAIL: AUGUST 6 - August 20

**This is fall tryouts for the Spring 2027 baseball season. This is NOT Fall Baseball**

For players in the 12U and 14U divisions, parents are required to provide their child with their own black helmet as well as a glove.

Players Must attend at least ONE evaluation
 
2027 Competitive Baseball 12U & 14U Tryout Dates
 
12U (typically grade 5/6): 
  • Wednesday, 8/26 5:30-7:30 PM            Niccum Field (Hampden)
  • Thursday, 8/27 5:30-7:30 PM               Niccum Field (Hampden)
14U (typically grades 7/8):              
  • Monday, 8/24 5:30-7:30 PM               Minnechaug Regional High School
  • Tuesday, 8/25 5:30-7:30 PM              Minnechaug Regional High School
NOTE: We understand that 14U and 12U baseball tryouts fall before school starts this year. There will be a 3rd tryout date for players who aren’t able to make either of the original dates due to summer plans. WPRD and WBC must know about player not being able to attend the original dates by end of registration (August 20th).

Third tryout date will be Thursday September 3rd at Minnechaug Regional HS

UNIFORMS:  The WPRD and Wilbraham Baseball Committee decided that it would be in the best interest of everyone to SEPARATE the registration fee and uniform fee. This will expand the offering of uniform separate pieces and eliminate past distribution issues. After teams are formed you will be notified via email with instructions for ordering and paying for your child's uniform.

For the 2027 Baseball Season, WPRD and the WBC are considering entering the 14U A team into an AAU league (Firecracker). The season would run end of March to late June, and the team would play one doubleheader on the weekends, practices during the week.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
    • Parents will not be allowed on the field during the evaluations
    • If a player is selected for a competitive team and decides not to play for any reason a refund will not be issued
    • This year’s format will allow all kids to attend at least one evaluation session while also providing the option of attending both sessions
    • If you attend both evaluation sessions, we will use the higher/better score for each skill
