The aim of this program is to provide the basic tools necessary to compete in youth wrestling through physical drills and discipline. The coaching staff provides a nurturing environment and mentoring through positive leadership, both on and off the mat. While there is definitely a team aspect to the sport, there are also individual barriers and obstacles that our wrestlers are encouraged to face head-on and overcome, including any obstacle life may bring, to reach heights that were never imaginable!
DETAILS
This year, wrestling will be separated into three divisions: Bronze, Silver, and Gold for grades (1-8). Kindergarten will not have separate divisions.
Bronze (Grades: 1-8)
Cost: $150
2 practices per week (Tuesday & Thursday)
Uniform included
Silver (Grades: 1-8)
Cost: $250
3 practices per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Uniform & warm up outfit included
1 tournament included
Gold (Grades: 1-8)
Cost: $350
3 practices per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Uniform & warm up outfit included
4 tournaments included
Post season tournaments included
USA wrestling card
Kindergarten
Cost: $75
1 practice per week (Wednesdays)
8 practices (12/3 - 2/4 no practice on 12/24 or 12/31)

- Kindergarten 11/3-12/5
- Bronze 11/3-12/5
- Silver/Gold 10/27-12/5
Practice Schedule
Kindergarten: Wednesdays 5:30pm-6:30pm
Grades (1-2) 5:30pm-6:30pm
Grades (3-8) 5:30pm-7:00pm
NOTE: all volunteer coaches will be required to attend 1-2 coaches meetings prior to the start of the season.
Youth Wrestling
- Season runs late November through mid-March
- Wrestlers are required to provide shoes and head gear
- A mouth guard is required for athletes wearing braces
- Parent involvement is needed for this program to run - no prior experience is needed
- Height and Weight are required on the registration form
