Skyhawks Sports Academy - Summer 2022 • Register • View Cart •

Skyhawks Sports Academy provides sports programs where children discover and develop athletic skills and social values, such as teamwork, respect and sportsmanship. We offer children a positive sports experience while promoting a healthy, active lifestyle.

Session #1: June 21 – June 24
Multi-Sport Tots (ages 2-5): Baseball/Basketball/Soccer
Introduce your little superstar to sports in our most popular program! This multi-sport class uses age-appropriate games and activities to explore balance, hand/eye coordination, fitness, sport skills and child development.  Parent participation required for ages 2-3.5 years.

Session #2: June 27 - July 1
STEM & Play: Volleyball Camp (ages 10-14)
This program combines strategic STEM-based activities with traditional Skyhawks volleyball instruction and a focus on life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship. The STEM Sports volleyball curriculum enables students the opportunity to get behind the sport they love with modules centered around innovation and technology. Subjects include calculating contact time, optimal serving speed, the science behind serving, and more! Participants will also learns the fundamentals of passing, setting, hitting, and serving through skill-based drills and scrimmages. Skyhawks puts the Sports in STEM.

Session #3: July 5 - 8
Mini-Hawk Camp (ages 4-6): Baseball/Basketball/Soccer
This multi-sport program gives children a positive first step into athletics. The essentials of each sport are taught in a safe, structured environment with lots of encouragement and a focus on fun. All games and activities are designed to allow campers to explore balance, movement, hand/eye coordination and skill development at their own pace

Track & Field Camp (ages 7-12)
Skyhawks track and field combines technical development, fundamental techniques and safety with a major focus on fun! Using special equipment, boys and girls learn the fundamentals of body positioning, stride, proper stretching and cool-down techniques.

Session #4: July 18 - 22
Flag Football Camp (ages 7-12)
Boys and girls learn skills on both sides of the football including the core components of passing, catching and defense - all in a fun and positive environment.</span

Session #5: August 1 - 5
Tiny-Hawk Camp (ages 3-4): Basketball/Soccer
The essentials of basketball and soccer are introduced in a fun and safe environment with lots of encouragement. Children will learn balance, body movement, hand/eye coordination, and skill development through a series of sport-specific games tailored to their attention spans.

Mini-Hawk Camp (ages 4-6): Baseball/Basketball/Soccer
This multi-sport program gives children a positive first step into athletics. The essentials of each sport are taught in a safe, structured environment with lots of encouragement and a focus on fun. All games and activities are designed to allow campers to explore balance, movement, hand/eye coordination and skill development at their own pace.

Session #1: April 5 – June 12 (late fees apply after June 12)
Session #2: April 5 - June 19 (late fees apply after June 19)
Session #3: April 5 -June 26 (late fees apply after June 26)
Session #4: April 5 – July 10 (late fees apply after July 10)
