Vanta Leagues Logo
Registration: December 7 – January 9, online or at WPRD Office 
- For ages 9-14
- Season runs Monday, January 17 to Saturday, April 3 (regular league play is January 17 to March 19, from March 20 to April 3 there are a number of online events and gaming opportunities for players and parents)
- Open to Wilbraham residents and non-residents
- Competitive leagues offered for Rocket League, Valorant, and League Of Legends
 
We are excited to once again be partnering with Vanta Leagues, a proven Esports platform that offers expert coaching, a holistic curriculum, moderator supervision, and live streaming of games on Twitch. Vanta Leagues offers a youth Esports (competitive video gaming) Development League with expert coaching for all skill levels for video gamers between the ages of 9-14. Vanta Leagues was started in response to one of their founder's sons being cyberbullied. Their team-based learning platform provides a safe and structured environment for youth to learn skills that can lead to college Esport scholarships and build meaningful friendships.

Technology requirements: PC desktop/laptop computer, mouse, headset, and power source. Please note that Rocket League can be played on XBox or Playstation, but a computer is still required for coaching and team interactions.

Rocket League




  • Practice times: M/W or Tu/Th at either 5:30-7pm or 7-8:30pm   


  • Game times: Sat: 2:30-3:30pm EST            




League of Legends     




  • Practice Times: M/W or Tu/Th at either 5:30-7pm or 7-8:30pm   


  • Game times: Sat: 4:00-6:00pm EST




Valorant  




  • Practice Times: M/W or Tu/Th at either 5:30-7pm or 7-8:30pm   


  • Game times: Sat: 6:30-8:30pm EST




Overview of Games:




  • Rocket League - 3v3 soccer with cars game. Can be played on a PC, Mac, or console (XBox or Playstation)


  • League of Legends: 5v5 multiplayer online battle arena game. Can be played on a PC or Mac


  • Valorant: 5v5 multiplayer Tactical engagement simulation  game. Can be played on a PC or Mac
